Yay! I'm so happy I finished this. This is a fanart for a new manga called Ann Cassandra. It's a really interesting read, and I love it. <3

EDIT: Full view please! :D

This is about a girl named Bekku Nanaki who moved to Tokyo in order to get away from her old life. The first thing she meets, is a fish dealer who saves her life from a falling billboard. The next day, she finds that the fish dealer was no fish dealer at all! It was in fact one of her classmates named Banjou Kizaki. Apparently he gets injured a lot, and she soon finds out why! This boy risks his life over and over again to save people from death or other injuries, by using a book filled with pictures of the tragedies to make "predictions." He has to break all the predictions in the book before he turns 20, or he'll die. Bekku, with some frustration, eventually uses her own power, clairvoyance through mirrors, in order to help Banjou with his quest. However, there seem to be a group of people that are against Banjou's breaking of predictions.

This manga captured me. Not only is the main character hilarious (and yes, that IS the color of his glasses, as described: shocking pink. I think I laughed out loud, hard, when I read that) even though it's kind of self-serving, his heroics are pretty awesome. Bekku is a cutey, she definitely doesn't like her clairvoyance, since she hardly looks in mirrors, thus her hair is almost messy every day. I didn't try to make the outfits exactly like they do in the manga, thus why Bekku's headband is a bit different, but there was one thing. Banjou's left arm is always covered so far, so I kept it that way. I don't want to make it uncovered and then like... a bunch of scars are on his arm that I didn't foresee. D: Aaand... I don't know why it's called Ann Cassandra... hopefully it'll be explained later in the manga. >.>;;

About the picture: Yeah... it's supposed to look 2-D. I didn't want to take the entire time to shade it. Also, I wanted to make the poses different, which would've made it more ' pop'ish and more suitable to the way it looks, but I wasn't satisfied with the way it was. I redrew it, and it turned out this way! The hands were a bitch to draw, and I constantly was using my mirror and my own hands to find out how to draw them. I think it turned out great, and I didn't see THAT many mistakes when I submitted it. Also, I hope I didn't overuse the patterns, I felt it looked fine. >w<;; And yes, that basically is the style in the manga... at least for Bekku. Banjou was a little bit harder to draw, I don't know why. D: (This is all towards the faces... the bodies are pretty much always my style. xD;; )
